There are leaders and there are those who lead. Leaders have power. People who lead inspire. People fallow those who lead because they inspire.
People don’t buy what you do they buy why you do it. Don’t tell people what they need to do. Tell people why you believe. When people believe what you believe, they will fallow.
The why how and what of great leaders, inspire.
People don’t buy what you do they buy why you do it.
Think about why before you have an objective. Why do you do it and why should any one do it.
Think about how the objective should function. How they do it
Think about what he product is. What you do.
As an example, think about computers.
- We make computers, What we do.
- They are well built, How we do it.
- We sell computers, want to buy one? Why we do it.
Think about Apple
- We believe in grate devices. Why we do it.
- We make beautiful user friendly devices. How we do it.
- We sell devices, want to buy one? What we do.
People don’t want to do business with people who have what they need.
People want to do business with people who believe what they believe.
The goal is to sell to people who believe what you believe.
The goal is to higher people who believe what you believe.
You can hire people who will work for money. They work for a paycheck.
You can hire people who believe what you believe. They will give you their blood sweet and tears.
In pursuit of riches gets you only so much drive.
In pursuit of belief gets you passion.
Market penetration is a bell curve. 15 and 18% market penetration is the tipping point for mass market acceptance. The First 15% are the believers. The majority, the 15 to 80%ers, will not try something until some one else has tried it first. The 80 to 95%ers are pulled along.
Find the believers, the ones who wait in line, to be first. The rest is easy.
